Thanks for the comment.  YES, it appears that I had left out the baking powder requirements for this cake by accident.  I&#039;m so sorry! The measurements are sweet and simple: 2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder for a cake that is fluffy and summery.

Please do let me know if you try the cake again.  I promise, it is worth every bite.  Again, I apologize about the baking powder.   I had included it in the directions, but it somehow was deleted from my ingredients list here (now since replaced).
