Delicious Crispy Bacon (The Lord of the Rings Online)

Today, Olivia and joined the LOTRO Stream Team to make two recipes from the game’s cooking and crafting system: Delicious Crispy Bacon (Tier 3: Expert) and Masterful Mash (Tier 5: Master). The results were delicious.

The in-game recipe is pretty straight forward: 1 piece of cooked bacon, plus salt and green onions.

To get the bacon extra crispy, we used a baking sheet and cooling rack and baked the bacon for 25-30 minutes in the oven. Oven-cooked bacon. makes for crispiest bacon!

Delicious Crispy Bacon

Inspired by the Tier 3: Expert recipe, Delicious Crispy Bacon, from The Lord of the Rings Online, here is an easy, at-home version you can whip up with very little effort.

Ingredients

• 6 slices bacon
• 1 green onion, sliced thin
• Special Equipment:
• baking sheet
• cooling rack (should fit inside baking sheet)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350F.

Fit cooking rack inside baking sheet and evenly spread bacon across rack.

Bake in oven 25-30 minutes, or until crispy and cooked all the way through.

Serve with green onions as a garnish.
